First things first: the house. Apparently the inspection went well because the buyer has asked to move up closing. We are now closing Monday! I can't believe how quickly this is going. Assuming all goes well Monday, it would have only been just over a week since we picked a realtor. We had really braced ourselves for it to take until Christmas to sell. But my stress level is pleased with it not taking near that long. Budget-wise it'll be nice to have it done this quickly, too, since we won't have to save for taxes or pay utilities there anymore. And it means that after Monday, we get to start pool shopping!
Second: I think Sam and Olive are going to be friends. They were just play fighting - very low intensity and calm roughhousing with no fussing or hissing. Fighting of any kind makes me nervous, especially with Sam's history, but I just watched them closely and they seemed to be fine. Well, until they got too close to Chloe. She started hissing and squeaking in distress and acted like she was going to join in the fight in a non-playful way. But still, it will be nice if Sam gets a friend (as he's still odd kitty out in the household) and if Olive has someone to play with (as she is exhausting the other kitties with her pestering).
And lastly: I don't know what to watch while knitting! For a while now (a year or more off and on?) I have been making my way through the TV show Supernatural. I hadn't watched it before so I had an eight season backlog to make it through. And yesterday, I finished the season finale of season eight. I am Supernatural-less. I didn't always watch Supernatural when knitting, but when I was in the mood and had the time, watching through four or five episodes was a great way to get some knitting in. But now I'm caught up so I won't be able to do that anymore. I think I'm going to give the series Teen Wolf a try but... I don't know. My go-to knitting show is done. I feel sad.
