It's That Time of Year...

DFW FiberFest!

Dan and I went last weekend and yes, we got yarn.

We were much better behaved than in past years, which is good because there are no unused shelves in my yarn cabinet that my yarn can expand to anymore. I still have room, but really, I gotta knit faster!

By the way, the bottom row is Dan's part of the haul. I think he's as addicted to me knitting socks as I am!

    They look lovely. Have you ever thought of making your own handspun yarn? It's something I've wanted to do for years, but never had the time to commit until this past February when I purchased my Kromski Sonata. I named it Ruth. I'm not sure which I like more spinning or knitting. I love sewing too, but knitting is portable. Spinning can be if I use a drop spindle.

      I have but usually the thought is quickly chased away because I definitely don't need to start another hobby that will encourage more stashing! It is pretty magical looking though!
