I made these socks using the same pattern and yarn (though obviously a different colorway) that I used when I made Dan's first pair of socks. (Full disclosure: I did use a different heel on mine, too.) I love them. They are probably the best fitting socks I have made yet. It was almost impossible to take them off to wash them, but I managed to peel them off since washing them will soften the buffalo in the yarn.
